What's New
For this year, Chevy has made a few changes to the Tahoe. First, a larger engine is available on more trims. In addition, most trims have been updated with Google built-in technology and more advanced digital gauge clusters. Safety systems have been enhanced, too, so you can feel confident driving.
Performance
Three engines are available. Two of them are V8s, with the first one capable of making more than 350 horsepower. The bigger V8 can increase horsepower to more than 400, which is amazing. Then, there's a diesel option that you might consider, and it comes with plenty of torque. All-wheel drive and rear-wheel drive are both options to think about.
Safety
There are several driver-assist systems found in the Chevy Tahoe. It has forward collision warning, emergency braking, lane departure warning, and lane-keeping assist. Plus, it has even more available monitoring systems so that you'll be more aware of what's around you.
Trim Levels
Six different trims are offered by Chevy. The LS starts things off with a smooth ride suspension and 18-inch wheels. The LT is next, and its upgrades include a hands-free liftgate and wireless charging. The RST is bold and aggressive with its black accents and 22-inch wheels. If you love going off-roading, consider the rugged Z71, which comes with red recovery hooks and a skid plate. The Premier feels more refined, and it has many advanced safety components and a higher-quality sound system. Finally, the High Country has the best suspension system and perforated leather seats.
Chevrolet Tahoe Trim Levels
The Chevy Tahoe has a trim level for every taste and style. Every Tahoe comes available in a 4x4 and optional package upgrades. With your choice of the base-level LS, the LT and the Premier, each trim has its own unique features. With the Chevy Tahoe LS, you get great standards, like rear-parking sensors, remote start and side steps. A standard leather-wrapped steering wheel feels more like a luxury option, than base-level. With the LS, an available All-Season package will land you with 20-inch all-season tires, advance towing package and all-weather floor mats
Stepping up to the Chevy Tahoe LT gives you a power liftgate, heated front seats and auto-dimming rearview mirror. Your favorite songs will sound great on the standard nine-speaker Bose audio system. Upgrade to the luxury package and you'll enjoy the power-folding seats and feel safe with added features like Lane Change and Blind Side Alert.
You can relax in style in the leather seats of the Chevy Tahoe Premier, the top level of trim. It has an optional 6.2-liter V8, which isn't available in the lower models. Heated buckets seats in the Premier's second row will make sure your passengers ride in comfort. The power release and the third row's power folding capabilities make the conversion easier for you, than the lower trim. More upgrades can give you a power sunroof and retractable steps.
